About Me

Hello, my name is Nathan Rhode and I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Colorado State University with interests in manufacturing, design, fabrication, and hands-on engineering projects. Throughout my coursework and personal projects, I have gained experience working with machining processes, CAD modeling, electronics, structural design, and engineering problem solving.

My experience includes manual machining, SolidWorks modeling, GD&T application, MATLAB programming, embedded electronics using ESP systems, and fabrication through both coursework and independent projects. I enjoy projects that combine creativity with technical problem solving and allow me to design, build, test, and improve physical systems.

This portfolio showcases a variety of engineering projects that demonstrate manufacturing knowledge, structural analysis, electronics integration, and design iteration. Each project reflects lessons learned throughout the engineering design process while also highlighting how manufacturing methods influence cost, efficiency, and overall product performance.

I am interested in continuing to develop my skills in manufacturing engineering, product design, automation, and mechanical system development through future engineering opportunities and hands-on experience.
